Welcome to SIS, an online Somali Islamic Academy offering a free education platform for the Somali community around the world, from the comfort of their homes. SIS is a non-profit, established in 2019 in Canada. 

The academy’s head teacher is Dr. Osman Ma’alim Mohamud. The academy consists of many volunteer staffs and scholars who come together to help our students to gain a better understanding of Islam. 

All courses are free ranging from beginner’s classes to more advanced ones that focus on an in-depth learning of Tawheed, Aqida, Quran, Fiqi, Hadith, Sirah, Etiquette, Somali and Arabic languages, etc. Students have full access of all their lectures, materials and study sessions. Furthermore, all courses are taught by highly credentialed Islamic scholars and educators who have years of experience in the field. The Academy also issued certification upon completing the requirements of the course.
