Welcome to SIS, an online Somali Islamic Academy offering a free education platform for the Somali community around the world from the comfort of their homes. SIS is a non-profit, established in 2019 in Canada. SIS also has an academy and a foundation based in UK. The academy’s headmaster is Dr. Osman Ma’alim Maxamud. The academy comprises of many volunteer staffs and scholars whom come together to help Somali students to better understand their religion. All courses are free ranging from beginner’s classes to more advanced ones that focus in-depth learning of Tawheed, Aqiida, Quran, Fiqi, Hadith, Siirah, Etiquette, Somali and Arabic languages, etc. Students obtain full access of all their lectures, materials and study sessions. Furthermore, all courses are taught by highly credentialed Islamic scholars and educators who have years of experience in the field. The Academy also issues certification upon completing the requirements of the courses. Our staff members work hard and are dedicated to providing our students with immersive learning experience that encourage personal growth and development.
